Yes, yes…I know! I’m reviewing another Miu Miu shoe, but I can’t help it. They are just all too fabulous to pass up! However, this Miu Miu Satin Platform Pump is quite different from the Miu Miu wedges I’ve reviewed recently.

Swedish brand Acne is one of the most inventive fashion labels, and these “Asteria” Pumps are a perfect example of Acne’s creativity. The suede pump is the ultimate classic heel, but Acne has reinvented the pump for the 2010 woman.
Designers that bridge age barriers blow my mind! It is easy to design a line for one demographic: teeny-bopper (Forever 21), hip soccer mom (Tori Burch), or 60 something globe trotter (Eileen Fisher). That is why I am always eager to see what is on DVF’s linesheet. She consistently turns out great wrap dresses, cocktail dresses and sun dresses all with original and colorful prints. I am a huge fan of her work and I am so excited that her accessories department is growing every season.
