Michelle’s Pick: A celeb nail trend I’ve been noticing for summer is hot pink paired with a neutral outfit. A trendy bright polish is an inexpensive summer accessory and a shade like Zoya Katy would make a great accompaniment to this embellished nude shoe. Zoya Katy $6 Zoya

Michelle’s Pick: This sandal is screaming, SCREAMING for color! It’s begging for a bold pop of yellow, but instead of wearing a shocking neon or golden mustard, opt for a lemon. As part of the site redesign, I wanted to add as much interesting content as possible! Since we are now in the summer season, I thought it would be interesting to pair shoes with the perfect shade of polish.

So I turned to the expert of nail polish and the goddess of beauty for help. I am talking about Michelle, the fabulous editor of my favorite beauty blog, All Lacquered Up. I sent her three shoes to pair, and here are her findings!

Chloe is one of those designers that always makes pieces that are right on trend, but remain classics throughout the years. They always have a vintage inspired feel, with a modern touch. I am constantly looking for wedges to wear to work with jeans, and this Chloe woven wedge is perfect. It will give me a little extra height and put together a more polished look. Plus, it makes it a whole lot easier to go out after work without having to worry about changing.
