Moccasins: Love ‘em or hate ‘em?

I’ll be the first to admit that I have never been on the moccasin love train! In fact, I thought some of them were the ugliest things I had ever seen! And then my shoe twin, Florence, jumped on the train! I was briefly shocked, and then I realized I need to give them another chance and take another look. Now, I can’t claim that I love every moccasin out there, but I did find some moccasins that are maybe for girls who like me who don’t love them, but are willing to give them a chance!

Cheap (Very Cheap!) Thrills: Old Navy Ballet Flats

As I perusing Old Navy the other day, I came across these super cute ballet flats at a great price! I ended up with two pair of the satin rosette flats, one in black and one in berry. Here is a little tip from a frugal Shoe Goddess: stock up on cute shoes like this when you can, and save your money for something really special like a sexy Louboutin stiletto.

Fortunately I had these on Thanksgiving, so I wore them all morning to cook for Thanksgiving, and then I switched to my stilettos for the meal. (And no, not even I wear stilettos to cook in for hours at a time!) But the ballet flats looked super cute with my outfit and were actually very comfy!

I paid full price for my flats, and was excited, but they’re even cheaper now! I also thought the bedroom slippers shown below were cute, so I had to share! Any of these flats would make cute stocking stuffers for Christmas by the way!
