I absolutely love these Philosophy di Alberta Feretti pumps. The combination of the grey suede and dark red patent is so striking, and all the details just make this a very hot shoe in a sexy librarian kind of way!

Besides being sexy, these pumps also look comfortable because of their hidden platform and chunky heel.

I really like how they are paired on this site with a black skirt, grey top and black hose. It looks very chic and makes the shoes the focus of the outfit, as they should be. When you have a shoe like this you don’t want them to clash or get lost with a very busy outfit. I would also pair these pumps with dark wide-legged jeans and a white blouse or black cashmere sweater.

 I think this is a perfect example of shoes as art.  I’m not sure if I could actually walk in these, but who cares?!  They are beautiful.  If I found it too difficult to prance around in these shoes, I’d put ‘em on a book shelf.

Alberta Ferreti Sculpted Wedges $768.75 Net-a-porter

 I know, I know… it’s still Spring, but I couldn’t resist showing you these. I’m very impressed with Alberta Ferretti’s designs for Fall, especially these beauties. That deep purple and the thick belt like straps are to die for. I love how they paired them with black opaque tights because it completes the look entirely.

I really like the look of these sandals, but I can just imagine walking around and cutting up my poor feet with all those thin metallic straps. Maybe I’m wrong and they are comfortable, but from their looks, I would have to go with no. Who knows, looks can be deceiving.
