For the final neutral shoe of the day, I wanted to finish with a creation by Brian Atwood. Shoe lovers are huge fans of Atwood who consistently turns out sexy and sophisticated collections, most of which spare no expense in the heel height department.
Hmm…again I am perplexed by another very expensive designer shoe! This Brian Atwood Multi-Stone Suede Pump just looks cheap and tacky to me!
OK, I admit it! Even though it’s contradictory to my somewhat cynical personality, I love Valentine’s Day! I love the pinks and reds. I love to make Valentine’s gift bags for all my son’s classmates, and I love to bake Valentine’s Day cupcakes and cookies. I loved it even when I was single and used it as an excuse to bake for my family or send cards to my girlfriends. So for those of you that hate the holiday, I apologize ahead of time for my soon-to-follow, obnoxious Valentine’s Day giddiness! I’ll review all black shoes for penance next week! But this week, I’ll be reviewing shoes that would be perfect Valentine’s Day Gifts or shoes you could wear on the day. Even if you’re single, now’s the perfect time to love yourself and splurge on that perfect pink pump you’ve been eyeing or if you abhor pink go for that sexy black stiletto, so you can strut your independence!
At first glance, these sand-colored suede “Abrose” Peep-Toe Pumps were just a chic, but fairly normal, pair of suede pumps that I really liked. That is until I saw the studs!
These Brian Atwood Studded Ankle Boots are perfect for the ultra-trendy, glam goddess. The gold studs are so unexpected against the dark grey suede, but the color combination works out fabulously. Read the rest of this entry »
