Fashion is art. Art is fashion. Fashion is life. Life is fashion. I would not be surprised if Rhianna or Gaga is caught in these gorgeous rock star booties. The lace, the mesh, the peep toe, and on trend pony heel just scream glamour and sexiness. I love the shorter wedge heel which is definitely making a come back this season!
I am always on the look out for an inexpensive summer shoe. You know, that shoe that you feel no buyer’s remorse about purchasing and wear through in three months? Last summer it was a pair of green patent Dolce Vita t-strap sandals. They were perfect! They were light and packed well and I could wear them during the day or out to dinner at night. I loved those shoes!
Very rarely do I see a shoe from Costume National that I actually like! In fact, this Cut-out Ankle Boot may be the first Costume National shoe I’ve ever written about!
I was unfamiliar with Carven shoes, but I love this suede ankle boot, mainly because of the bright blue contrast heel!
If you liked the Givenchy Banded Wedge Ankle Boots, but think they’re a little too spendy, check out these Jeffrey Campbell “Tickle” Slashed Booties for under $145. Is the quality going to be comparable to Givenchy? No, but I actually prefer the look of the Jeffrey Campbell.
