As every year, we will be enjoying a relaxing weekend with our friends and family. However, we will also keep in our minds and hearts, the memory of our fallen soldiers and their families.

I didn’t receive a Mother’s Day gift from my husband, who keeps on pretending that the reason he doesn’t give me a gift is because I am not his mother. Since I take care of him like a mommy, I felt totally entitled to take the matter into my own hands!
This weekend has been a busy one for me as we hosted our 7th Annual Cinderella Project at APCH, the after-school program where I volunteer. Over 600 girls gathered from all over Los Angeles to pick a dress, shoes and accessories for their prom night. Pictures and video will be posted soon!
This year, Mother’s Day is the day after The Cinderella Project, where we will be donating gowns, shoes and accessories to underprivileged young girls for their prom night.
