Proenza Schouler Perch Cage Boots
I might be completely confused here, but I am wondering what the material is that is used to make these Proenza Schouler Perch Cage Boots! I get the grosgrain ribbon and the raffia trim, but I seriously don’t get the rest of the shoe.
However, I am definitely in love with these booties! I love the color, and whatever the material is, I like the texture and the roughness. Since I will be in NYC next week, I will definitely check these babies out at Kirna Zabete, and I can’t wait to try them on!
I would pair these booties with black, gray, denim, white and even beige!

These very pretty “Perch Cage Booties” are made of Perch Leather, aka Fish Skin! It’s a good material to use because the texture can be so lovely, even if the idea of wearing fish leather might be a tad off-putting to some.
