I would like to think of these Neil Barrett shoes as what happens when a classic Mary-Jane and a bootie get married, and get a little bit sexified, which is a look that I could totally go for year after year, for its classic approach to something totally new. They grey leather and suede fabric of these shoes really allows the focus to lie in the details, and the beauty of the shoe.

The round toe, and opened front of the shoe lend me to think of the bottom of this shoe as a Mary-Jane. The difference is, instead of a strap, a bootie takes form, and creates an elegant shoe out of two ideas. The lace closure adds to the more classic look of a Mary-Jane, but the stiletto heel definitely let’s this shoe hit the mark in the sassy department. Upon coming across these shoes, I couldn’t stop thinking of how undeniably classic these shoes can be. They epitomize the best of many trends, and really are fabulous.

These shoes can literally be worn with anything. From skinny jeans and trousers to tights, mini skirts and dresses, these booties have you covered. Plus, I love that the bit of your foot is showing, for some added appeal, and cutesy-ness. Plus, if you wear tights, you can see them through the cut-out which I think can look totally chic when done right. These booties are definitely on my “I really want” list for Fall.
