Pierre Hardy, Be Still My Heart…
Europeans definitely take more risks in their fashion, and they look absolutely phenomenal. For this reason, you can always find more of a selection in luxury designer’s stores in Europe than you can in America. Pierre Hardy has quickly become shoe lover’s instant favorites for their edgy, unique designs, comfort and stunning architecture. For this reason, we had to go into the Pierre Hardy boutique in Palais Royale to see what there was to offer.
My heart instantly jumped at the site of beautiful silver, black and cobalt blue sparkling sandals. Maybe it is from looking at shoes all of the time, but I finally came across something that I had not already seen. While his shoes are definitely stocked in the states, his boutique has a way superior collection, and I had a short love affair with each pair that I saw.
In the window were truly extraordinary metallic, dual colored sandals that caught the light effortlessly, and would make any woman look the part of a shoe goddess. He also had a great selection of boots, flats and heels, each with their own flair. The shoes sit amazingly against black walls, and the colors and details are really able to pop. I wish I saw more of these shoes in The States, but with his growing popularity, I am sure it is only a matter of time. And maybe he will even consider opening a boutique stateside someday, because that would be a real treat!
