Joie Opens in Paris!
Florence and I had a great time in London, but now we have hopped over to Paris for more shoe research. The weather here is absolutely beautiful, and on our first day here we found ourselves going to Palais Royale to visit the recently opened Joie store, it’s very first storefront. We are huge fans of the Joie brand, as a lifestyle collection from their clothes and outerwear to shoes and accessories, the brand is truly fabulous in every way.
Joie sits fabulously next to some amazing vintage shops and the window displays are perfection. We walked inside, and of course, were drawn to the shoes. They had adorable suede oxfords and boots in a variety of color options. Their shoes are made in Brazil, which is becoming a true hub for shoe manufacturers, and the quality is superb.
What immediately struck me was how elegantly the store was merchandised. Colors sat with colors and styles with styles, making the store extremely easy to navigate and find whatever you are looking for. A great vintage looking staircase takes you upstairs to find more color options and even better, more shoes.
My personal favorite is a great white bird that is displayed in the window. The feathers are immaculate, and it just really looks special perched up. And Florence definitely fell for the pink colored changing rooms and their beautiful moldings.
Florence had the opportunity to interview the store manager Evvy, who was amazingly helpful and truly knowledgeable about the brand. Joie means happy in French, and I truly think that the people in Paris should be happy to have this first Joie store front in their city, I think I am just a little jealous!

I really like the interior of the store. Do you have any more pictures, I’m particularly interested in the stairs, they look awesome!
