October is national Breast Cancer Awareness month, and to help recognize this important cause, we launched a month of prevention-themed giveaways last week!

According to the Susan G. Komen website, breast cancer accounts for 1 in every 3 cancer diagnoses in women. Almost 200,000 women will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer this year, and almost 40,000 will die. Despite the tragedy in this, there is good news. There are over 2 million breast cancer survivors in the United States today, and the number of deaths due to breast cancer is declining due to earlier detection and more effective treatments.
