Street Style: Austin, Texas
Hello everyone, my name is Jessica and I will be your new Street Style seeker extraordinaire! With the help of the rest of the Shoe Goddesses, I will be carefully searching the globe to show you who is wearing what and where they are wearing it!
I find nothing more exciting than global fashion. Women dress so differently and yet, we all share one common passion: SHOES! With street style, The Shoe Goddess is going to bring a bit of inspiration to your week by showing you trends around the country – and world when we have the luxury to travel abroad. We want to illustrate to you how women dress and thus articulate their sense of self!
Personal style is not something than can be summed up in words. In fact, I think of it more as a feeling or emotion. Like when you see how someone put an outfit together and you think to yourself. “I have all those pieces in my closet and never thought about wearing them like that!” That is what Street Style is determined to show – the ordinary woman looking extraordinary!
In terms of getting dressed in the morning, the fashionista has to have great clothes, but more importantly, she has to have great accessories! And this blog is called The Shoe Goddess! So… We will be primarily highlighting the shoes we stumble across during our travels. Check out what I found in Austin, Texas.

These adorable sandal/booties are made by OPENING CEREMONY and retail for $375.00
I ran across Wendi at her store Kick Pleat (www.kickpleat.com) in Austin, Texas and noticed her fabulous sandal booties! They are a smart alternative to gladiator sandals, which everyone has been wearing for the past few summers. These booties are also a great transition piece that can take you well into fall and appear again in early spring, ready to be worn all summer. Keep on eye on this trend especially for spring 2010 shoes styles.

Owner of Kick Pleat and fashionista Wendi poses for a picture to show off her southern style.

Im’ sorry, but the only term I can find for those shoes is HIDEOUS. the price, also, is embarassing. I won’t pay 5 dollars for that grandnanny stuff…
I don’t know if I would wear her shoes either, but I give her points for great style! Her store looks amazing from the website!
Shoos are stylish but not affordable, but I love her great style.
