One of my few luxuries (well besides shoes!) is bi-weekly pedicures. Despite being buffed, moisturized and polished every other week, it’s still hard to keep my feet in shape, especially in the summer when I’m barefoot indoors and wearing sandals so much. But since I’m such a product junkie, I’ve found some very effective products that will keep your tootsies in tip top shape! These products are great for maintaining your pedicure or if you like to do your own!

Creative Nail Solar Oil

This is one of my favorite products, and I’ve been using it for years. I keep it on my bedside table and apply it to my cuticles on my nails and toenails every night. It keeps your cuticles moisturized and looking nice! You can find it online or at any drugstore.

Bath & Body Works Shea It Isn’t So Foot Cream

I’ll be honest and say that I have the worst time remembering to moisturize my feet every day, but I keep a tube of cream in my bedside table drawer, so that I’ll remember. I like to slather it on and then put on a pair of thick socks overnight. I love Bath & Body Works Shea It Isn’t So Foot Cream. It’s very moisturizing and doesn’t cost too much!

Bath & Body Works Heel of Approval Cracked Heel Treatment

If you have a problem with dry or cracked heels, you want to use a product with some type of exfoliating acid. Bath & Body Works Heel of Approval contains glycolic acid to slough away dead skin cells, and shea butter moisturizes.

Bliss Foot Patrol

I am obsessed with Bliss products, and this Bliss Foot Patrol cream does not disappoint! It softens feet with peppermint and salicylic acid.

Bliss The Tenderfoot

For the ultimate in luxury, try this combination from Bliss. Bliss Softening Sock Salve is a smoothing balm that contains eucalyptus oil, and the Softening Socks contain a self-activating gel liner to further smooth those tootsies! This also makes a great gift!

Sally Hansen Visible Effect Foot Crème

This Sally Hansen Visible Effect Foot Crème is one of my favorite inexpensive creams. It moisturizes with Aloe Vera, Shea Butter and deodorizes with Peppermint Oil. It absorbs quickly leaving a satin finish making this an ideal cream to use in the mornings before you put your shoes on. Just make sure it’s thoroughly absorbed before slipping on those expensive shoes!

Diamancel The Foot Files

If you’ve ever had a pedicure at a Bliss Spa, then you probably noticed their arsenal of foot files. These files are amazing, and well worth the money! Trust me! For me, buffing is a necessity to keeping my feet smooth, and they become cracked immediately when I neglect to do it, even with regular pedicures. This package includes three of the most popular files, but Bliss World has a large selection for sale individually online.

Lather Pumice Stone

If you don’t want to invest in the more expensive foot files, a pumice stone is an inexpensive way to keep your feet buffed. I always keep one in the shower. I place it on the floor of the shower when the water is running to make sure it is fully wet (don’t use it dry), and then I buff my feet at the end of my shower when my feet are softened from the water. I like the shape of this pumice stone, but you can find them even cheaper at the drugstore.

Dr. Scholl’s Dual-Action Swedish File

I also like to keep one of these Dr. Scholl’s Swedish Files on hand. I use it when my feet are dry, and it does a more fine job for that last bit of smoothing. It’s also nice to use before you put on tights to avoid any snags if your skin is rough.

C.O. Bigelow Mentha Foot Tingling Foot Cream

Another product I like to keep in my foot care stash is this amazing Mentha Foot Tingling cream from C.O. Bigelow. I don’t use it all the time, but it is perfect to use on your feet after a long day of uncomfy shoes! The tingling is amazing and quite relaxing, but don’t use it right before bed! For me, it’s hard to sleep when my feet are tingling!

NailTek Nail Strengthener

There’s nothing more frustrating than chipping your polish or breaking a toenail right after a pedicure. If you have problems with polish chipping, buy a bottle of the same topcoat that your manicurist uses, and apply a new coat every few days to clean nails. If you tend to have problems with broken toenails, try a strengthening product like Nail Tek. They have a variety of formulas depending on your specific problem, and I just take my bottle to my pedicures, and they apply it as top and base coat, and then I apply a new coat every few days.
