I am usually not a big fan of lace, but I have to say this Christian Louboutin Lace Button Bootie is absolutely gorgeous.

I love the delicacy of the lace versus the suede upper, and the button detail adds a refined feel to the shoe. They remind me of the Mantilla women used to wear in Spain during the 17th and 18th centuries and that were represented often in the paintings of Diego Velasquez and Goya.

I will pair them with dresses, skirts and skinny black pants, and they will work during the day and night!
