This year fairy godmothers descended again upon South Central Los Angeles for the annual Cinderella Project. I know you are all anxious to hear about how it went this past weekend. Stay tuned on Wednesday when we will have more information on this past weekend’s Cinderella Project, as well as video of the fabulous event. For those of you that are not familiar with The Cinderella Project, it provides shoes, dresses and accessories for prom for those students in the Los Angeles area that cannot afford them.

The event is hosted by A Place Called Home, an after-school center in the inner city, where I am a huge supporter. This year we had generous shoe donations from TJ Maxx, Payless, American Eagle and Joie, to name a few. We had the most dresses, shoes and accessories this year, than we have had in years past, but of course, we can always use more, so keep that in mind for next year!

The event is truly phenomenal and watching each girl transform into Cinderella is an amazing thing to see. So please, watch the video Wednesday, and we would love to hear your thoughts. The Cinderella Project is definitely an organization to watch, as is A Place Called Home. Los Angeles is a huge city, and a fashion hub. There is so much that goes on in the city, and even for those of you that don’t live here, this is an amazing organization to become involved in. You can show your support by joining The Cinderella Project Facebook Group.

Here are a few pictures of the Cinderellas and the fabulous shoes!
